Travel to Cuba

Travel to Cuba ?
I saw the details on how to stay in Cuba more than 14 days but...
My question, is this plan OK ?
The plan is to get a CG3300 form, stay in Cuba one week and continue to Mexico and beyond with the boat not returning to USA, but I will return to USA without the boat.
Thanks

Crazy, I'm thinking about doing the exact same thing in May! I have no idea yet, but I'm trying to collect data. I have read that people(Americans) fly round trip from Cancun, and since I'm planning a key west, Cuba, Cancun run I'm figuring it will be doable. Are you doing multiple legs of a delivery? We are west bound from Florida to California

I thought Cuba was opened up to Americans this year with cruise lines going there already. You just have to say it's for educational purposes.

No, none of the laws concerning Americans visiting Cuba has changed. The only thing that changed was that Obama issued an executive order, and loosened up the administrative and paperwork rules.

What is done by a stroke of the president's pen, however, can also be undone by a stroke of the president's pen. The rules could change again tomorrow. Meantime, the law still contains all the same restrictions and requirements that it always did.

Re: Travel to Cuba

I just heard that you don't need a zarpe to enter Cuba at Cayo
Largo, as a new ruling? Has anyone heard this too?
