I am taking a new Catana across to the Caribe and we are setting off this month.. so will/should be in the St Martin/BVI area mid to end of Feb.. ahh..!! sunshine...

Anyway..!! if anyone is looking to get their boat across to Europe early for the summer of 2017 give me a shout and I'll give you a quote.

The 1st 600 miles are going to be miserable.. cold, headwinds and a fair amount of motoring.. Westerlies are dominant at present sweeping across the Atlantic.. here's hoping the Polar situation changes though I doubt it.. think this is here for a while.. remember landing at Heathrow one April in the 90's and having to unpack some warm clothes and my sheepskin n boots to tromp through the snow..

She's only a couple of months old and not really been 'tested'.. the time has been spent within a couple of hundred miles from pick-up getting the extras/upgrades installed by outside contractors.
So don't be looking for performance reports at the end of the crossing as I'll be under sailing her.. object being to get her across 'unbroken'.
How she's sailed after I get off in the BVI's is something else..
