South Florida to Bocas del Toro (Panama)

What's the "best/fastest/safest" route to take from South Florida to Bocas?

I think there is already a thread on this so give it a search.

Most I think get to Panama from FL or the Carib via 1 of 3 routes.

1. E and then S thru the Windward Passage. For example, from the Bahamas-Jamaica-Providencia-Panama

2. W from the SE Carib. Example, Grenada-ABCs-Colombia-Panama.

3. W Carib-Bay Islands-Providencia-Panama
