I hope that everybody has thrown a floater the size of a head, overboard in a choppy sea then tried to find and retrieve it!

Strobe on the lifejacket
Throw everything that will float overboard to mark the area

throw floating flare to mark the area
Hit MOB button on navigation eqpt.
