I just can not see trying to "save" $200 on an anchor!!!!!!!!!! Far as I'm concerned my anchors are the cheapest things on the boat when you consider any type of value and importance.

My understanding is that basically these anchor certify things are so useless as to just be meaningless. As example I don't care if my anchor schank is certified to not bend, I'm interested in...

I have a Manson Supreme and can say it rips huge amounts of stuff out of the bottom. The only 2 times in 7 years it hasn't set right off the bat was when I didn't wash out that ball of sand/mud/grass...

And even funnier is that marina clubhouse boards people will be trying to sell a used CQR 35# for $350.

I have a 60# Manson Supreme and in 7 years it has never dragged during some nasty blows!
