Re: Crystal Prop review or recommendation

The reviews at PYI at the bottom of this product page are pretty generic.

Re: Compost head use?

Try something like this and see if you like it. We did and bought a C-Head. Its really a shame that C-Head is gone.

Re: Open Source Arduino Alternator Regulator

Have a look at ESP32 Async Webserver

https://github.com/me-no-dev/ESPAsyncWebServer

That package makes serving static or dynamic HTML files pretty easy. Easy to upload a config file too.

Re: G-Flex for teak caulking?

I'm almost finished removing my teak deck that was re-caulked with TDS starboard side in 2005 or so and port side a few years later. Many planks were also replaced.

All of the TDS caulk was still...

If I was going to install a receive only SSB, I would buy an SDR dongle, Software Defined Radio, and toss a wire on deck for the antenna or haul it up a flag halyard. Cheapest way to receive SSB and...

Re: Biggest and best Wind Generator?

D400, Super Wind, Silent Wind, Airx with Silent Wind blades in that order.

I have an ancient Four Winds that works well to supplement 390 watts of solar that is soon to be 600 watts.
