You certainly could have a drip from the Volvo seal but I had a Beneteau 473 for 7 years and I had an annoying leak in the aft end of the boat that turned out to be a leak from the transom lazarette...

Unfortunately, all the parts have found homes.... Most went to an older Hylas owner with a W70. I left the Hurth transmission with Horizon Marine in Little Creek, VA.

Just to emphasize what Orion Jim said..... Get it thoroughly checked out.
Additionally, Water and fuel tanks will have to be replaced eventually if original (very expensive). Teak decks are nice...

I just did 2 x 100 watt semi-flex panels (Amazon $188 each) on a bimini as described above.... Works great so far. 10 amps plus in full sun.

Not sure if the 423 is the same as the 473.... but I had a insidious leak that turned out to be in the drain tube from the transom locker to the thru-hull..... learned later than it is a known...

On the Beneteau 473 the factory installed A/C strainer is under the starboard aft cabin floorboard...... Not easy to access and unfortunately the intake seems to be a magnet for Seagrass and other...
