Anyone know where Fountaine Pagot gets their stanchion bases?

But here is a tip for my fellow FP owners. Interior hardware is from SouthCo. A US company. Took me years to find them.

Got some thread drift going on here. I had the same issue on my Fountaine Pagot. Must have been to 15 locksmiths. There is a place in Florida that finally found me the blanks. From Italy.

It has a hard Bimini down the center. It allows you to walk down the entire length of the boom. Both sides. Either side of that is a sumbrella sunshade awning/bimini. Keeps the weight down. Weight is...

Definitely carry a TDS water meter. Very inexpensive (around $20) and very useful to keep your water supply safe. And to monitor your water maker output if you have one.

I would string my water maker filters on a line and trail them behind while under sail to clear them...

I wouldn't say they were useless. Quite the contrary. But C map chart SD chips for circumnavigating are gram for gram the most expensive thing I ever put on my boat! You could put the whole world on...

+1 for Lofrans. Looks a lot like the one on my cat. Mine has a small plate riveted to the motor housing that yours does not seem to have. Had a heck of a time getting parts for it after it grenaded...

Done it quite a few times. Had some pretty rough crossings. Also motored there in glass smooth seas. Best trip was going up to Anagada first. Then NE for about 50 miles. Then rhumb line to STM....

Grenada! Did 2 hurricane seasons there. Really like the country. And the food!

They did get hit a few years back. Once in 50 years. But if you are there you can run south to Trinidad and get clear...

I have the lithium pack hand held that I put on charge avery couple of months but also bought a AA battery pack for it. And carry a dozen AAs along with the Li charged pack.
