Thanks for all the input. Right now I have the 7/8" hose triple clamped onto a 3/4" barbed fitting, and it's not leaking, but I just ordered that 7/8" to 3/4" straight hose reducer.

Our 1982 Oday 34 came with a 15RH8 3-blade on it and another 15RH8 3-blade under the seat....

I think your transmission is overheating and siezing up the motor. It should have a separate filler and dipstick for transmission fluid.

Put a short bolt in that exhaust hole and then JB Weld...
