Small world, yes the Watkins is a sturdy boat, lots of headroom too (I'm 6'5" and I can stand up straight down below).

Look at a Watkins 32, a bit bigger than your range but a good solid boat with 6'5" of headroom and an ample v-berth.

I just replaced the batteries and all the wiring checks out. The voltage doesn't go down until I insert the 15A (Main) fuse on the wiring unit.

This is a lot of good advice on here but I would add just a little more. When looking for a boat don't count out a Watkins 32/33. They are cheap, strong and spacious (especially headroom).
