Parts for my outboard crane

I just recently bought my dream boat, an IP38. As with every boat (dream or otherwise), there things that are not right. This particular "thing" is the crane for my 9.9-HP outboard.

The issue is how the crane is secured to the boat. It is attached at the deck (bottom of crane), on the pushpit rail (middle attachment) and the "arch" (upper attachment). The deck attachment is fine but the pushpit rail attachment uses cable ties and the arch attachment uses small stuff (line). Since the pushpit rail is aft of the crane and the arch is forward of the crane, my solution is to:

1. Install a 1" dia. tube standoff about 2" long (including end eyes) between the crane to the pushpit rail.

2. Install a 1" tube standoff about 4" long (including end eyes) between the crane to the arch rail.

The only other issue is the arch looks to be galvanized tubing, about 1.1" in diameter. I understand about dissimilar metals but I cannot replace the arch.

My question is, does anyone know of a vendor (preferrably online) that sells the hardware for these connections? The length of the attachments are

Thanks!

Tayana 42,

Thanks for the link, lots of great stuff from Garhauer! Unfortunately I only see relevant parts that are not stainless steel and I am trying to minimize dissimilar metal connections (will have to have 1).

Put a layer or two of clear packaging tape on whatever you want to clamp, it works.
There is special tape made for this but the clear packing tape works just as well.
Google dissimilar metals tape I think will give you examples

David, call Garhauer and talk to them about what you need. They will have a solution that may not be obvious online. Good people and good products.
