A friendly dealer can research "comps" for you, showing original asking price, final selling price, length of time on the market, etc.

In the US, sailboats in the 40-50' range are selling at about 95% of the asking price. It's easy to track how long they've been on the market but harder to track price reductions.

Not much has been said about the condition of the boat other than its "in good shape". I recommend that you make sure that everything is in VERY good shape before calculating your cruising kitty....
