I once ordered a length of line from West Marine. Evidently the first spool was 2’ short. They sent me a section 2’ less than I ordered, and an additional piece 2’ long! [emoji23]

I installed all of our Tru-design thruhulls using Sika and no primer or activator and have had no issues.

I’ve got a main ordered through RTS. It’s around 650 sf, triradial Dacron, big roach and full batten. $6,000 USD.

Hmmm…. I met him right after he bought the boat, which was basically a brand new boat. He told me he had NO sailing or boat experience. I offered to go out with him, he never took me up on the offer.

Mine has always had a gap there. I asked Torqeedo about it when new, and they said it was normal. No movement though, and mine is 8-10 years old.

I renewed ours recently and didn’t have a choice to do anything but a 5 year renewal. I believe you will find that the Coast Guard is only doing 5 years now.

Personally, I wouldn’t worry about it. I didn’t even put the “wrap stop” back on mine when I re-rigged. With the angle our halyard has when hoisted, didn’t see it being necessary. Yours also looks...
