    Hello Roy,
I see you are a Searunner owner and I live in San Diego. I have been talking to John Marples about building a Seaclipper but i've never sailed on a Trimaran. Any chance you might know someone in the area that has a Marples Trimaran that would talk to me ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Brad White

Hi Roy. I spotted your post re Dink's Song, Jeff & Jose where you said that J&J were in Portugal in 2007. Do you know where they are now? I often wonder about them although it's been 25yrs since we were all in Gweek and my GSD Khan refused to be left on shore so swam out hoping to get on board but had to sit in the dinghy all evening (looking very sorry for himself) Would love to hear how they are. Thanks and regards Jane

    Roy,
Read your post on deadlight replacement materials and viewed the four photos with interest. Getting ready to rebed deadlights on my 1983 Islander Freedom 41 ketch, but am concerned about the plastic frames surviving the process. Do you know of a source for new or custom-made frames?

Thanks for all the info on windows. I was not able to do the work on my recent trip to the Rio Dulce where she is currently moored. Long story there but I am seeing it. It should be easy when I return now that I got it figured.

    Hi,
So did you have a positive first impression of Glen's boat(I didn't get its name)? I know your visit was casual and you were probably getting to know Glen more than the boat.
Do you know a surveyor? He was planning a haul out on Sep 24th for bottom paint and it'd be convenient to have it surveyed if it passes the rough visual if I can get someone to do that for me.
    Thanks
    randy

Roy Well I found out that I am Limited to 1000 spaces. had to cut the other short. We are from just up the road. We spent 20yrs there and many races to San Diego. We retired in 1997 and went cruising. We are still members of PMYC for about 30yrs. I read your part on the thread about refrigeration.Thought that yon might have some insight. We are currently we Curacao and have someone that can bring parts down but that goes away the end of next week. Tanx for any help............................. Sid (AKA) Boatbumms

Roy. We are cruising I installed the mark II in 1997 as only a fridge trying to stay simple. It has been an outstanding unit for as long as I had it,it has only run bet 1-1 1/2 hr every 24 for 13yrs. until last month when it started one night and the compressor sounded like a skeleton jacking off in an empty oil drum but only for a few min the not going into the compression mode but still pumping a few min later did the same thing I shut it down. I tried to call Glacier Bay but no joy for over 5 weeks then they tell me that they do not support that product any more an directed me to Pacific Sea Breeze with no joy yet as they are reorganizing(new co aka R-Parts). I really didn't want to start with the wrenches until I had some kind of idea as what to do. can you help? We have been cruising and my wife keeps up a blog if you want to see it is at boatbumms,blogspot.com Thax Sid
