I read your message regarding the use of wind generators, interesting when you state that you are off the grid.
I am in the process of selling my house and ultimately purchasing a cruiser, specifically a Beneteau 473. Your being off the grid, that would be how I would want to be able to exist.
Are you using a watermaker? if so, what brand?
I am thinking of setting the boat up for 5-8 year cruise into the caribbean. Genset for those times when the AC is needed, and solar with a wind generator as a system to use as a primary energy source.
Would you have any words of wisdon for a wanna be cruiser?
