Hello Lake Superior, I've been seriously looking at a Mason 44 for sale and sounds like it may be the one that you sailed across the Atlantic. If she is named Bella Mia I'd surely be interested in talking to you. Please advise yes or no. Thank you, Tec Mac
Yes, it has a heater. The boat has been exceptionally well-maintained according to several sources. The plan is to day-sail from marina to marina with the focus on delivery rather than cruising. But, yes-the unexpected will happen!
LakeSuperior, other users on this forum have recommended I get in touch with you regarding taking a boat from the Keweenaw (Dollar Bay) down into Lake Michigan. Wondered if you might be open to some questions.
Thanks,
Steve
Bill, your PM box is full, so I had to send you this via your profile.
Hi, Bill, We are up at Ft. Wilkens until Saturday. We then head down to Sarge's, drop the motorhome and then head to Muskegon on Sunday, bummer, would love to meet your partners.
If you find yourself on a Copper Country cruise before Friday, we are on site #16 up here in the East Campround. All the best. Cheers, Ray
Not sure yet, Bill. Maybe the end of July or 1st part of August. If you happen to be in the Muskegon area sometime, let me know. This is where we are currently located. Cheers, Ray
Hi Lake. I understand that you made a crossing last year to Ireland. When did you start? I want to make the same trip. Anything of note about the weather? Route? Dennis.
What kinda boat do you have and have you been in Grnad Marais before? Mn that is? I am sure you will agree with my posts in regard to the Canadian shore posted here?
