    Nauticat 44 owner and long time Alaskan--Ketchikan, now Sitka--here. I'd be cautious about taking theological maxims from Mark Twain. We are warned that hell is not a party but rather perpetual solitary confinement--"weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth." I am 100% in favor of enjoying this amazing world and all the amazing places and people and things. But to think that the great deceiver has something better for beyond this life is missing the boat in my opinion.
    I hope you are enjoying the Pacific, and that you find what you are seeking.
