Furry Friends

I'm sure this has been done before, but maybe it's time for some new pics. All this talk of cats has made want to see your four legged friends.

Here are ours, Puss (white) and Fluff

Lilly deciding I didn't really need to bake brownies because the pan was the perfect cat bed.

Lilly inpatient for her daily ration of ice.

Chloe doing what she does best -- nothing.

I like your color scheme Smart Move... as for mine, I'm totally sick of it (which happen about once a year) so will be replacing all shortly. Well, I have to wait until I can get to a real store -- preferably thrift, so the price will be low! At this point I'm not sure if I'll go muted or wild. I'll know when I find it though. Your Lilly is gorgeous. And I'm not messing with Chloe. A girl needs her rest, eh?

Just made the decision to get another dog. She has not been overnight so I'm certain that will bring its own challenges

re: Furry Friends

That puppy is so adorable! My little guy poops and pees on his mat, such a great boat dog except he goes rabid if someone approaches the boat. Still working with him to teach when that is ok to do.

There is a thread about dog training.http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...-113480-2.html

Re: Furry Friends

Janice, the cushions were just recovered while we were in Grenada, hence the towels on the seats. I like the color scheme and brightness it brings. We get some odd comments from more traditional sailors though.

Lilly is a love, at 18-YO she is still going strong! Chloe can be a love but she picks the time, lol!

Re: Furry Friends

Norma, thanks ! They have both turned into great little sailors.

They have enhanced our entire cruising experience. I glad we didn't listen to the people who told us to leave them behind. At least, here in the Caribbean, having cats onboard has not caused a problem or been an issue.

Your cats are sure cuties!

Robyn

Puss and Fluff came from the bins in Lefkada, Greece. They were in a margarine tub with 4 brothers and sisters being pecked by the crows. Several weeks of hand rearing and tlc later they had put on weight and turned into lovely cats. Unfortunately the other four died soon after we took Puss and Fluff.

I didn't want cats, they were for my DH, but now I wouldn't be without them, they are my girls! They don't really know anything other than the boat and rarely go ashore. We are leaving Greece this year so we have just got them passported and chipped for their first border crossing!
