Stove Fuel Question

I have been happy with our Origo 3000 non-pressurized alcohol stove. We usually burn denatured alcohol from the Home Depot. I have heard that alcohol is either expensive or hard to find in some ports.

Since we plan to cruise the Carribean (not this year), I was wondering if I need to be thinking about a kerosene/diesel stove. If I go the route I am thinking of something like:

I would just as soon stick with my Origo though. So can anyone clarifiy the availibility of alcohol suitable for a non pressurized stove in the Carribean?
