Prescription Medicine Logistics

I am a liveaboard sailor planning to jump off from Norfolk on or about November 1st to Bermuda thense to ply the waters of the Caribbean for two years. I am also a Type II diabetic with high blood pressure. Both of these diseases are well-managed with prescription meds. CVS Caremark will ship whatever I need to USVI. So, the Leeward Islands are covered. What I need from all of you smart people is an identified Windward island/country where I can procure Victoza, Tradjenta, Losartan-Potassium, and Coreg. I'm happy to work through local doctors, hospitals, pharmacies or whatever is required to keep the police from arresting me and throwing me in the hooskow. Well that's the help I'm seeking. Thanks!

Re: Prescription Medicine Logistics

The big question these meds is are thete any high priced ones in there? If not, then sourcing them or meds very close is usually not that difficult. For the cheap stuff I get 6-12 months at a time and pay put of pocket. For expensive meds it is more of a dance.

Re: Prescription Medicine Logistics

We holidayed in Grenada in March; it has a large teaching hospital in St George's with many US and Canadian students. It is also an English-speaking island which is potentially a benefit.

I had cause to visit a pharmacy whilst we were there, and Mr & Mrs Mitchell at https://www.grenadachamber.org/index...s-pharmacy-ltd were exceptionally friendly and helpful and I am sure would be able to tell you if they can fill prescriptions issued in another country, if they have those meds and at what cost.
