Welcome welcome.

Where in the world will you be “out on the water”?

Starting out in the Galveston area for a little while. Once our skills improve plan on doing the Caribbean in the future. Of course life and funds dictate if that is sooner or later. LOL

Re: New to sailing and New to the site

After we took over our boat from our vendor he took a photo of us very similar to yours. With a smirk he said "you are boat owners now". I pass on the tradition.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your new boat (you may remember this sentence )

Re: New to sailing and New to the site

Hello everyone!

Just bought a 1999 Beneteau 411 Sailboat. Super excited and looking forward to many hours of sail-on fun within Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Based at Marina Puerto del Rey in Fajardo.

It’s a live-aboard and first experience sailing. I’m an airplane kind of guy. Commercial Pilot License, so this is quite different.

Working and opening every board and under-floor hideaway to learn all there is about this beauty.

Looking forward to share my experiences with this community and learn from you all.

Happy Sailing everyone!

Welcome coolchange to CF and to the sailing lifestyle. Sails are just like wings, so you’ve got that part covered! She’s going to be a wonderful platform for exploring and enjoying your part of the world.
