Howdy

Greetings!

I'm new to this board and looking forward to surfing and viewing the posts. Any other Endeavour 37 skippers here?

Welcome Ken! Hope you enjoy the forum - lots of good folks here dispensing excellent advice - and the occasional disagreement

Almost bought an E37 B Plan in Ft Lauderdale a few years ago. Tell us more about yours and your adventures with it.

If you haven't found it already, here's the Endeavour owner's site: http://www.endeavourowners.com/dscsn.html

Welcome Aboard!!

Mark;

Thanks for the greeting! As far as "Plan A" vrs. "Plan B" goes: beats me ... I never have gotten it straight in my head which is which. "Capella" is all one cabin. She has seperate V-birth forward (with a modesty door) and the rest is all one "room". A small "double" quarter berth (suitable for two very close friends) is aft behind the navagation station ... no modesty door.

Experiences: I came to Florida via the ICW in November 2000. I stopped in Vero Beach for a couple days and wound up spending the winter. Local cruisers call it "Velcro Beach" 'cause it's hard to tear yourself away.

I met a wonderful woman there and we've been up and down the East Coast every year since ... North in the Spring and South in the Fall. We spend summers cruising in New England.

In 2004 we made a DVD video "Snowbirders Guide South Along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway" that has proved suprisingly popular. We record footage southbound on the ICW for updates and will be issuing a Third Edition with footage from this years return trip.

I see from your posting you have a Endeavour 52. Center cockpit? I've always admired those.

Aloha Kaptain,
Welcome aboard!! I hope you enjoy this forum as much as I have. Lots of opinions and most of them good.
I'd like to see your video sometime before heading your direction. Where is it available?
Kind Regards, --John--

We are getting quite a little gathering of Endeavour owners here. I presume that you are all aware of the Endeavour owners' forum?

SkiprJohn;

Thanks for your interest our video. I just had to double check the forum rules about "Advertising" and found: (quote) Shameless self promotion is permitted if it is relevant to the category or forum discussion and comes from the authoritative source. (unquote)

Soo .... Follow this link http://www.snowbirders.net

There you will find a "Preview" link that will take you to Googles "Beta Test" Video site and a nine minute introduction to our video. (We don't have to tell you how thrilled we were when Google selected our video to post on this site!)

There is also a "Reviews" link that will take you to ... what else ... a Reviews page. Both "Soundings" and "Cruising World" thought highly of our efforts. There are also extracts from unsolicited e-mails from actual purchasers.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Welcome Ken,

My neighbor had an Endeavour 33, but because of age sold it in favour of a Senator 37. Sometimes it happens. You'll find all kinds here so enjoy and join in the discussions.

Thanks Kaptain. What my slow service would let me see looked interesting. For each second of your dvd took 30 seconds to download so will look again later.

You described the B plan perfectly. Conversely, the A plan has the dinette/settee forward in lieu of the V berth, with the galley amidships to starboard.

No matter which plan... a comfy and popular boat!
