Hi All, from Down Under

This looks like a great forum and I am happy to be part of it. I have over 40 years sailing experience from Canada to Florida to the Bahamas, down to the Caribbean as well as well as most of the east coast of Australia. I just recently sold my boat "Quo Vadis II" a 45' Roberts. Now that I am land locked I am working on a web site to help boaties like you with with their DIY (do it yourself) projects. I look forward to helping any one on this forum where ever I can.
Cheers Mates

Hi capdiy! I for one will be making use of your experience. As a coastal sailor with limited experience I welcome all advice on how to bring my boat up to a level of reliability and safety suitable for comfortable cruising.

G'Day Capdiy,

Met the new owner of your old boat in Crowdy Head a few months back when he was taking her home. She looked a fine boat.

We have a Roberts Design South Coast 36. Look forward, to your new web page.

Out and about and cruising in Moruya River ATM on the way to Tassie.

Roberts are great - I owned an 'offshore 39' which I took from Brisbane to Cairns on a 9 months cruise and the last one was a Mauritius - not much cruising but a 2 year restoration job. The web site is up and running, but I believe no links allowed here?
Happy and safe cruising

Hi Ralph
good choice in your boat and I hope the new owner of mine is enjoying it. The web site is up and running but I believe links are not allowed here?
Happy and safe cruising

Peter,

I'm sure you can post the link. A lot of us have our sites posted in our signature.

Cheers,

Hi Spnecer,
it is but I don't want to contravene any forum rules. It is non commercial now, but hope to make a living out of it in the future. The "buy & Sell" is completely free as I am trying to get listing, but hope to be able to charge a sellers fee in the future.
If I can help in any way let me know.
Happy sailing
