Hello from Southeast Pennsylvania

By way of introduction, I'm at that point in my life where I can see the light at the end of the tunnel after a long career in public safety. I was introduced to sailing in the mid 90's by a friend and after a few ASA classes my wife and I began chartering for vacation on the upper Chesapeake Bay. We purchased a '88 Catalina 27' and loved it. We sold her last season so that we could charter bigger boats to find a size that would be right for a summer live-aboard.
We did our first BVI bareboat charter this past spring and can't wait to get back. We still sail the C bay often on my gracious friend's 23 Precision.
I'm happy to be aboard this site, looks like a lot of friendly, knowledgable folks are here!

We too had a dream to set sail. Our dream is coming true as were are now prepping to embark on a 10 year sailing journey. We leave for the Bahamas in Nov/Dec ish.
