Only 1 yacht piracy in SE Asia all last year - you'd get the impression from reading other threads there was a pirate lurking over every horizon...

I sympathize with the charterers and tourist trades.

Now there is some good reading Scott.Maybe all those yachties up north will start taking their boats further north than the Whittsundays!Has sea Yachting got a forum site?If not,Get one!!,WE NEED a lot more interaction on line from Asia as a whole,afterall,we are neighbours.Journo's dont thrill me to much,But,I like your No-Frills approach to the artical.I did read your post about the delivery of ya boat ,but with all that typhoon **** going on I wouldn't have thought that Pirates would have been an issue.In fact the only thought I had on it overall was "Glad ya made it out of a hairy situation!!"Good on ya mate,Mudnut>
