Hello from North Florida

Hey everyone,
What a great resource and I'm proud to be a part of it. I'm really trying to convert from my powerboating self to a sailor, but don't know much yet. I'd love to hook up with some people that sail around Jax or St Aug during the weekdays that don't mind teaching. "will work for knowledge". My goal like many others, is to shove off with the family in 5-8 years, but I've got lots of homework to do along the way and I need some teachers. My current powerboat is docked in Green Cove Springs and I'd love to meet some sailors in that area. Please send me a PM if you can help me on my conversion.

We're from a ways south of you in the Cocoa area. Spent some time this last summer in St. Augustine in our boat. Nice area to hang out. See if there are any sailing clubs in your areas. Sailing organizations are usually a good resource for support and advice. Welcome to the sailing world!.

Imagine2frolic,
Knights marina at Black creek. My parents live in Green Cove, at Magnolia point CC. We keep the boat close, so my wife and I can have babysitters when we need it. We live in Lake City.
