Hello from Maine

We sail a Lord Nelson 41. Retiring soon and will sail south to white sand beaches and palm trees. Hope to meet CW forum members as we voyage. Are there any other Lord Nelson sailboaters on CF?

Re: Hello from Maine

We're at our home port in Florida, but up to Maine for the summer after spending a couple months ahead in the Keys.

Re: Hello from Maine

Know the Pendelton Yacht Yard over on Isleboro? Stan and I took our 100 ton coast guard class together, he and his wife babysit my daughter, and they have a boat 50' down from mine at the marina here in San Diego. Oh, and I hit his boat once and smashed his dinghy, then rowed it back across the bay.

Small world.

Re: Hello from Maine

Greetings, hoping to do the same from Nova Scotia soon on an IP38. Crossing my fingers that it will all work out for me. If so looking forward to meeting you somewhere warm!

Re: Hello from Maine

Hello LN41 -

I just recently bought a Lord Nelson 41 out here in the Pacific Northwest. I originally hail from Maine and would love to hear about your adventures as you head toward sunshine. I will also be interested in the things you discover about your boat during your travels.

Cheers!

Re: Hello from Maine

Welcome LN41 from another Maine sailor. We sail out of Rockland but we have just taken Pacem out for the season. Maybe we can get together next summer. Do you keep your boat up the river or down in Bucks?

Cheers

Re: Hello from Maine

I wish I could get to Maine next summer! But we won't make all the way around from Seattle. I just wanted to touch base with another LN41 owner and let you know that I'll be excited to hear about how you and the boat are getting along.
