Greetings from the Sassafras

Hello All,

Just a quick hello to all from the crew of sv Puffin, a Compac 27 sailed and lounged upon on the Sassafras River, near Georgetown, MD.(USA)

Like to see if I have any neighbors out there. Like many, we are working on our sell-out and sail-off plan. Love to hear from others with similar goals.

Can't wait for Spring!

We started our grown up sailing careers at Sailing Associates on the Sassafras. First time out the river, we couldn't figure out which way to go around Ordinary Point, it all looked like land. Of course, we didn't have charts. You have a good boat for exploring the Bay. We moved south in the Bay, first to Rock Hall and then to Annapolis. Now we're heading south again next week, Florida and then the Virgins, not quite as far as Hud3 has gone. Welcome aboard.

Small world as we are on an SAI mooring directly across from the Granary. Patrick and Patty are the owners and still as friendly as ever. Annapolis is our fav destination for a junket, but Still Pond is always nice.

Save travels
