Wink greetings from the far north

Found this site when googling dive compressors, found the threads on onboard compressor options interesting.

No better way to learn new things than from others experience's, so I though I'd join.
Who knows,I may have some experience's to offer also.

I would be happy to offer advice to anyone cruising into my home waters of northern B.C. & the Galopagoes of the North....Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands)

Cheers all!

Aloha Emerald Sea,
Welcome aboard!! Hope you enjoy it here. I've still got a dive card somewhere. In the last 20 years the only thing I put my tanks on for is to clean boat bottoms and check moorings. Boring!!
Kind Regards,
JohnL

Thanks for the replies and welcomes! Yes the Queen Charlotte Is. are a magical place, although they have nothing to do with queen Charlotte. Haida Gwaii means islands of the people. The southern islands are a UNESCO park called Gwaii Haanis meaning "place of wonder". Diving can be cold 40-50, but temperatures get over 60 in smmer on the west side due to the warm japanese current.

Emeraldsea....welcome. We need more Canucks aboard, to counter the overweening presence of the Kiwis, who announce their total every time a new one joins.
