pirate greetings !

i joined this forum last week and it has turned into everything i hoped for - i really do not know how to introduce myself - i guess what is important to know about me is that my late husband and i had the dream - of sailing and living on board - finding and seeking adventures ...meeting amazing people..... i have done a lot of reading and will do more and i feel like i have a pretty good idea of what to expect overall - just not necessarily the specifics - so - i plan to take lessons or should i just find someone that will take on a novice and go for it - i would prefer that...as that suits my personality to just go..... any advice on this will be greatly appreciated
in the meantime - i cannot wait !!

Re: greetings !

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you posting here and hope you can fulfill your dream.
I always recommend just a beginning sailing class to get you off on the right foot. You'll learn very soon if sailing is the right thing for you and you will learn those important things that a novice may not show you correctly.
Kind regards,

Re: greetings !

Mahalo for the guidance and response - i know you are right on many levels and for my own confidence as well as for those whose crew i might join..... having some accreditation can only help.
Aloha !
