Gearing-Up for a Life Change !
Hello all,
after 8 years or so of flotillas, charters, shorebased & practical training, crossing the English Channel at night in a gale hasn't put us off (just the opposite) and we are counting down to our retirement and semi retirement to enable us to buy a boat and become winter live aboards in the caribbean from winter 2012 - if all goes to plan.

I am enjoying reading the very informative threads on this site and look forward to picking the brains of some of you experienced folk - and interested to read the thought processes of other newbies!

There seems to be a great community spirit and I look forward to becoming part of that
