Welcome aboard, Eli from an old Pensacola sailor. We keep our boats on our dock behind our house on Bayou Chico. Call 850 572 1225 and come and visit. My wife and I are around most of the time, but the water calls...

Our neighbors are mostly a bunch of old folks who love boats, some have circumnavigated, others have less experience. We lived aboard our Cal 46 for 18 years and cruised 9 years - The BEST years of our lives!

We are having a gathering at our place on Memorial Day, Monday 30 May at 2PM. Bring a snack to share and YOB. We will be sharing sea stories, will say the Pledge of Allegiance to the Stars and Stripes, will encourage short speeches appropriate to the occasion and say Grace before eating.

Good to have you here and it appears you've made some local friends already. I was stationed near Milton for 3 years back in the 60s and made it to Pensacola many times. There was a great little Italian restaurant near the Naval Air Station there that had the best food.
