Finally joined CF - New member in San Diego

Hello,

I've been perusing CF for many months now, but have only just joined. I am a former boat kid, did a 4-year circumnavigation as a teenager. My husband and I are in the "Boatless - But Looking" stage, although we do have a dinghy. Last year we purchased a Portland Pudgy "for the kids" (haha!). Love it, great, stable dinghy. Have taken it sailing & rowing many times.

Now we're looking for a "big sister" for the Pudgy....

Cheers,
Dawn

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

Welcome aboard, Dawn,

If you're interested, we can try and hook you up with some very good friends of ours who winter over mostly at Silvergate YC in SD. They are extremely long term cruisers, not at all "hoity Toity".

Send me a PM if you're interested.

In any event, it sounds to me that you are on the verge of some wonderful experiences.

Ann
