Cal 227 Owner new to CruisersForum

Hi! I am new to the Cruisers Forum, even though my husband has had his boat for well over 30 years, Cal 227, 1976, we are embarking upon fixing up the boat, including engine, hull liners, painting and window trim and curtains. We look forward to joining the forum community! Thanks!

Congrats! These are sturdy boats. All the best with the upgrades. You might be interested in reading the Singlehanded Sailing Society forum regarding some recent posts about a Cal 227 including a new rudder design.

Re: Cal 227 Owner new to CruisersForum

Hi,
I too have a Cal 2-27. I started to fix up the inside but I'm stuck, really. We are new to sailing and we bought the boat to stay on while I took my daughter to SF ballet school. Maybe we should keep in touch and share info as we learn this together.
