New to CruisersForum

Hello,

I am Andreas from Vienna, Austria (Europe).
Actually we are 5 (my wife Hilde plus 3 kids 2 to 8 ys).
We spend the summer usually aboard our motorsailer Albin 25 AK "Dido". Small but ready to trailer: during the summer at the Adriatic, the rest of the year here in Austria on the River Danube.
This year we have just returned (only physically, to tell you the truth ... And I should start to work again on Monday )

Great place here in CruisersForum, which I visited so many times as a guest. Now having a question and a contribution, I finally signed up.

Regards
Andreas

New here, also

We just registered today, and are amazed by the depth and breadth of the info, people and just all around goodness here. We are Rick & Donna Cass, of North Port, FL, and presently in Mass. Next month we take our new/old boat south from Baltimore where she lies awaiting our return. As old, long term sailors, we can't wait to cruise without pulling strings and Donna will be happier with being close to horizontal most of the time. Thanks to the admins and founders for this great site. peace, love and joy to all, Rick & Donna, SloPoke, prairie 29

Hi and welcome Andreas,

Just sent my daughter to attend school in Vienna. She loves it over there. She has an apartment near the Prata. Beautiful country. My wife and I will be going there around November. I'll have to get some advice from you on things to do. Perhaps we can meet up and have a beer and talk sailing. If you ever get over here (South Florida, US) We'll go out sailing. Welcome aboard.

Hi Andreas, Rick & Donna! Glad to have you aboard! Ask if you need anything, and enjoy, Chris

BTW Andreas, post pics of your Albin 25 when you can. I'd love to see her!

Welcome aboard. Some great information and people here.

But some are a$#holes so be careful!

Just kidding. They tolerate me, so they are a pretty good bunch.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
It has been so many years since I was in Vienna! You've brought back good memories. I was last there in 1974.
kind regards,

Hello & welcome

Nearly bought one of those a few years back, just dithered a bit too long
