Amazing

Having spent very little time here compared to the rest of you guys I must say that this is one of the most friendly forums I´ve come across. Haven´t seen any fighting where ppl resort to pie throwing and jumping on individuals. I like the fact that ppl actually seem to discuss problems, even if having other opinions on matters.
It´s to me pretty amazing..

Good work in the past, by mod´s maybe..? Dunno. Nevertheless it´s great.

Ah, but there´s ABBA and there´s Abba. I like the Abba tunafish, herring and all the other canned fish.. but the other ABBA makes my radio blow its fuses. As for the Volvo, well, u must be a bit more swedish than I am.. Had a few of them but never liked driving a container so got rid of them pretty soon

Hmmm, re that white sauce.. Theres a few diff white sauces around. Be more specific pls. Is it one of the kinds that the herring is canned in, or do you mean the kind that ppl make themselves, to be served with the "standard" pickled herring? White and has tiny green thingies in it?

good retort.
went to hallberg rassys yard to pick up a hr54 and had a night in the hotel there. the herring was in long strips in the white sauce, it could have had green bits possibly a herb? i ate it all anyway, the staff were pointing at me.

Ah, being at a hotel that would probably have been just the plain sourcream with cut up chive (google translation, would that be correct?) in it.

Love Sweden.. hmm, you´ve never been here during the winter season, I bet

Well, if your photo album is any example the fishing looks good. That's a nice pike but I find it difficult to sustain the level of denial required by ice fishing to give it much of a go . I lived in Edmonton Alberta for a decade. Some meteoroligist once did a study that declared Alberta to have the best weather in Canada based on number of sunny days. It made the front pages of the papers as a joke since we all knew that when the temperature is -50C and the suns transit across the sky takes 3 hours being sunny doesn't make it a good weather day. Cold winters? You can have 'em.

Thumbs up

Yes, I am getting more stoked about the decent people I am meeting on here. Some are even mad keen fishermen.

Last night I had this good dream about spear fishing off my local beach twenty years back, so I am not complaining. Maybe it was telling me today is a good day for a dive? A big bag of fish and a few lobsters are great barter chips when you are near broke.
