I don't think they're anchored. They're tied to moorings.

Thanks for posting it. I bet you have some great aerial pictures of your area, because unlike driving a car, when you fly, its not like you have to stay in your lane or on the road.

Not that far north of you. Are you also a mason (judging by your signature)?

When MJ said "firefighter", I thought there might have been a misunderstanding. I figured Freemason just because you continue to surprise (read impress) me.

Now if MJ had this in his sig
"square their actions by the square of virtue"
Then you would have been right on to assume a fellow Freemason, right?

I'm getting hooked too. This is my all time favorite anchorage, needless to say, I don't need an active shore-side night life. I enjoy the warm waters, in a bay within a bay, where the desert meets the sea, with darkening blue hues from calm water, AND my perfect social nightlife is anchoring with other cruisers they play bridge. That floats my boat.

I'm intrigued by the zoom, can't you tell?

Ahh, Santispac.
We were there on June 1st many years ago with a Norther blowing off the hill.
It was a great place until the wind came up.
Think: Opening up an Oven Door", the heat almost peeled off our skin.
Gotta agree though, great spot.

Re: Show us a bird's eye view of your digs

Off-grid cabin in the woods. Can't tell it sits on the edge of a granite bluff, with a spring fed creek 200 feet below. Nice spot, just not so upscale as some others digs.

New GE photo of the marina. Actually shows my boat now, the smaller one on the outside east lay-wall.
