Maybe it's a typo and the hundred goes to whoever wants to get rid of it. Maybe a good tender from the sailboat in the previous post?!

He's going to have to pay me more than $100 to cart it away.

Yes, that’s a poor pic. But I looked a little more closely at some of the hull pics and that’s one strange little boat. Not sure what everything is supposed to do. Never seen a keel like that before.

Yeah, that picture is sure to help you decide if you want to buy the boat, isn't it?

Funny

The whole setup inspires confidence, not.

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

Just finished a 3 month search worldwide. We looked at so many photos at one point I wanted to just give up. While not the worst this one was definitely the most interesting. Look closely...

The bulb in the keel is probably a hunk of lead positioned low, and the pic looks to be a way to demonstrate the clarity (or lack thereof) of the dodger currently on board. The internal photos show a boat full of the owners crap (not great) but otherwise seem to demonstrate the dark dungeon the vessel currently is. Some lighting would be nice! Still, I don't know that ad meets the requisites for horrible photos, as the photos each told me something about the boat, including the dodger see-through one. You have to look at the pics at the link to see what is being sold, and that dodger is a cherry-picked photo that is not listed in context. It clearly shows the dodger film clarity state, and I believe that is a useful thing to show when showing all the other VERY clear pics in that listing (and there are a lot of them). The vessel may or may not be a good deal, but you will have a reasonable idea of the thing you are buying, at least the part the actual hull survey does not really cover well.

Yeah, and in the ad he also says will sell for $500, so not sure about the $1K note and its origination. I assume it was in the initial title? Don't recall..

And yes, the registration is definitely an issue! Maybe the NY registration had not been changed on the hull to the prior owner's paperwork, and the boat moved again? I am unsure how any wrecker is going to lift that hull onto a trailer, either, especially without damaging the keel join or flexing the internal tabbing loose (assuming the fall over did not do that already).
