Looks Like We Set a Record Today !

......today just after noon we had 1,867 CF'ers logged on. Can I say CF'ers? Sounds like a dirty word.....

Yes but with gadgets like my iPad, this number isn't really accurate may be? How active must I be to be considered online? I get push nitifications, so I might be on-line 24/7.

ciao!
Nick.

Re: Looks like we set a record today.

Well for me, after a year of quietly posting once or twice a month, I've picked up my pace. I think it is because of the quality people that are solid regulars on the forum, like Nick aboard a great boat like the Sundeer 64 s/v Jedi.

I don't know that that number is reliable.. Seems like there have been wonky readings where it has mysteriously dropped from previous highs...

Anyone else remember us being over 2000?

Of course its totally possible I am imagining things as well ; -)

Nick pushes us over the top all the time.

Yes I'm a slacker so don't be trying to say it like it is a bad thing or something!

I would love to ignore Jedi but amongst the stiring there is a lot of good information either from him or from those who would like to slap him down. Whats good for me regardless of if i agree with him on any issue is that it causes me to question my "knowledge" as to if it is fact or just my perception.

And that is exactly what I try to accomplish so thank you

Much around boats is about doing it the way it's been done for centuries and new ways are easily condemned. There is still thousands out there that need to be convinced that a small fin keel provides more lift than their huge full keel and zillions of similar examples. The threads become interresting when people use brain power instead of adrenaline

ciao!
Nick.

i seam to remember about 6 years ago that it got to some thing like 2400 and that was when Atts & Latts, Rebel Cruisers and Ors were in existance. I know that my user name disapeared when i went cruising for a while after having people like Talbot, Wheels and of course Gordy giving me invaluable assistance.
