that method sucks, sorry. too loud. need something QUIET!!!!!!!
now --this is a quiet, sneaky , springing birdie killer--they(birdies) dont hang around my boat, or any boat i sail.....

heck-i would even go for cannonry over those airplanesfromhell...yipes!!!!

This happens at least three times a week sometimes more

They will fly 10 or twelve sorties a day...not counting touch and gos.

Then there are the C-130s.

ouch. my ears hurt just thinking about that noise!!!! yipes--would do it for the birdees, tho!! i still like my way better--is warmer..

Those birds are rather loud and heavy looking. I would hate to have one build its nest in my rigging. Imagine the size of its droppings.

Individual droppings are at least up to 2000 pounds, some guided, some unguided. Those birds also have a nasty spit.

I'd be tempted to put up a flare although I suspect that approach might not end well.
