Captain Ron ? What's the Truth ?

I'm watching Captain Ron AGAIN! I love that movie! Is there any truth to it at all? Okay, I know its fiction and not a documentary, but what do you feel is true to course?

Only the part where he says "When you run out of fuel, you're there." Everything else is dramatic license.

Entertaining but fantasy.

The interior scenes is from a different and much bigger boat.

The full speed into the marina is not real life or even close.

The acutal boat was for sale a few years ago and it may still be floating around on ebay or yachtworld.

The boat (one of them used in the movie) is for sale in Kemah. JM YACHTS, Inc. (Clear Lake Shores, TX). I have no interest in JM Yachts, just saying it is for sale here in Kemah, TX.

the forsale one is fulll of rot and the owners want 3 times its resultant value as a selling price. is being rented out in a friends marina in kemah...
2 formosa 51s WERE USED FOR THE MOVIE AND ONLY ONE HAD GREEN MASTS. that is the one forsale.

I'm pretty sure the carnival scenes were not too far from reality.

Oh yeah, it is fun in the Caribbean on a boat - that's very real.

The entire movie is absolutely true. Just like the movie Speed, with Keanu Reeves and the bus.

Does anyone know where you can get a copy of the sound track from Captain Ron? I have looked around on line with no luck. Sorry if too off topic - ummm - I am sure the music was real.
