Invisibility can be personality related?

My dad (80) definitely dosent feel invisible. He had no hesitation starting conversations with anyone, anywhere. I doubt invisibly has even crossed his mind. Invisibility dosent cross his mind.

Mum on the other hand would be verging on invisible if dad wasn't around, this is not gender related but personality related, mum just isn't as extroverted or confident as dad is. He's also a guy that just never whinges or bitches about non important stuff.

sorry, i realise that you are on the other side of the world where real life priorities are very different from those the west... but i'm not sure i get the gist of what you are saying

you do not think that we are doing it that tuff:

-trying hard to be visible by dressing up?
we tomboys are not eager to wear make-up, so, do know, it does take effort (i don't even own make-up). and the dress is when there is surely going to be dance music.

-being invisible while selecting bits and parts in hardware stores? actually, i get lots of attention in hardware stores. i go nuts over tools and parts and bits and stuff.

-or are you trying to tell us that, any girl looks good on a sailboat?

Dale, who said I had a problem or have it tuff? I enjoy the shock value. And Like Zee, I'm an observer of people. I find that what people say and what they actually do to be a super fascinating dichotomy.

i think 60 is still a bit too soon to be invisible,but i do see it happen as we get older,the grey hair and stooped over ;posture and slow movements..stay relevant even if only to yourself and hopefully family and friends..

The most invisible people I’ve ever seen are the poor and homeless in rich urban areas. Most of us actively try not to see them .

I like to be invisible. I'm rather enjoying it! But then again I do not feel the need to be the center of attention. For example there are times when I'm working on the boat, and have a long list of things do get done, and I'm always getting people stopping to ask questions..which is pretty cool, but sometimes when I face down in my lazarette it's not easy to carry on a conversation.
