San Diego Marinas

Gudday, Ahoy!
Anyone out there living in any of these SD marinas?

Bay Club Hotel & Marina
Cabrillo Isle Marina
Half Moon Marina
Kona Kai Marina
Marina Cortez
Seaforth Marina

I'm compiling a library of marina diagrams for boaters to download and/or view and need maps for these places. Google Earth/Maps doesn't have the details I'm looking for but the paper drawings the marinas give you when you check in usually do. If anyone has these and wouldn't mind scanning them and emailing me a copy, I would be greatly appreciative. Please send to Dale@TheMarinersGuide.com

Much thanks!

Google earth should have what you need for detail, only problem is getting the licence to use it in any commercial way. Same would hold true for scans of any map.

Be careful.

Never heard of Intrepid Landing. If you have a map and it's not too much trouble to scan and email, I'd love to add it to the library.

The problem with Google Earth is that it doesn't mark the rows and slips. I got the idea for this from my personal experiences of always coming into new marinas cold, wet, tired and in the dark and then not being able to find the guest slip because the rows weren't marked. It sounds like a little nuisance but it feels like a big one when you're exhausted.

Good luck with your venture.

I see a way of staying at every marina scott free while doing this.

Approach the marina manager, telling him her what you are doing, and tell them gettinglisted is free. Tell them you need a complimentary slip to work out of, while you do your work.

Hey! If you climb your mast you can probably see my boat from there! It's the incredibly gorgeous, 28' Triton moored off of shelter island, in rock-a-rolla.

Mate, you and I are as one. Sadly I do not have the personal charm to pull it off. I once made a video tour of a marina which was posted online and the HM wouldn't even cut me a deal lol. I must admit, though, that he was letting me live aboard for non-liveaboard fees so I felt fair was fair.
