Newbie here...looking for advice.

Hello......I just returned to living aboard, 7 year absence! I have lived aboard various boats, sail and power, from 1982 until 1997 with only a brief absence 1989 to 1991..a soured and short marriage! Anyway, just discovered the world of computers a few years ago and web sites such as this one and want to communicate with others who share the similar............name is Steve and my new boat is a Gulfstar 43 ketch named Eagle.....living aboard on Cape Cod in Cataumet......

You would be correct.........I have been around boats and boating as a professional and as an enthusiast. I was a SAMS surveyor for 9 years, owner of a fiberglass boat repair business, a diesel mechanic, wooden boat builder with honorable mentions in WoodenBoat.....news paper articles.......boats have been good to me!

I'm open here for anyone who wants to tap my brain for what it's worth. Currently I am working as a small diesel mechanic at a Cape Cod marina and living aboard my Gulfstar and enjoying myself.....I plan to go cruising in a few years and will have a way to support my financial needs, ie: mechanic...........one way to do it!
