I've only been interested in
boating for 18 months and just got my first
boat 6 months ago, so I am still on the steep part of the
learning curve. The first
boat I wanted to buy was an "FC'' but it
sold before I could liquidate funds. Those I spoke to who were somewhat involved with
boating did not share my excitement about it. And then the
insurance issue. But I met a guy who bought one for CDN$500, 42'
ketch,
sails great, dry as a bone, and he's happy. He contacted over 50 ins. agents before getting insured. Lives on her now!
How long have you had yours? Any issues?
