Good Live Aboard Boat

We have one boat too many and need to sell the 30' s2 center cockpit. I was just curious as to how any of you liveaboards found your boat. Where or how did you find yours.

I have it listed here on the classifieds and on my local Craig's list...where else should I list it....or should I list with a broker. I know the price will go up $2000.00 to cover the brokers fees so I was reluctant to do that.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Might try sailboatlistings.com Sailboat Listings - sailboats for sale

If the marina has a bulletin board, that might not be bad either. Where I found my boat actually. If there is a local sailing publication that also would be good place to post an ad

Had not even thought of the bulletin board! Unfortunately the marina it is in does not allow for sale signs on the boat except from the broker that rents space from them. Will try your other suggestions as well!

Fair enough, but would they be adverse to a simple placard with only a website that would guide a person who was interested in the boat?

Re: Good Live Aboard Boat

I shop craigslist for deals on boats daily, and I just sold one via craigslist among a lot of other items acquired through storage unit auctions. I noticed the date on your ad was Sept 9, when you added the new photos. You have to renew that constantly, as much as allowed, which I think is every 36 hours or so. Keeps you at the top of the list, it doesn't take long to get so far down the list that the emails stop coming.

I've been watching that boat, I'm subscribed to your ad here and keep checking craigslist, but don't think I could get it for what I could offer.
