Re: Croc for Liveaboard

I just had to laugh at the Croc's! .... Being a seaman for 40 yrs we always wore steal capped work boots Lol! however on my yacht its forbidden to wear shoes or foot apparel on board!
Now having said that! In Australia there was once a Tennis player called Adrian Quist He was working with Dunlop at the time and designed the Volley for tennis as it turned out they were the best grip sand shoes in the era! I believe they still are ! They stick like **** to a blanket!

Interesting info, but I’m not sure it as worth waiting 9 years for.

I've got a pair of the standard Crocs that I wear in Kona. Good ventilation, etc. I bought a pair of there offroad models but they weren't good in warm weather. With fewer vents in the toe area, toes got sweaty. They are fine in 70 degree wx and not having the vents in the lower toe area, are way better walking when it's wet out whether on or off the boat.
Crocs makes deck shoes:

Just not sure if they are available anymore. Not sure on the company where the link points to either, I thought that Crocs had stopped them.
Might be worth an enquiry though.

Same material as the standard Crocs, so not suckling up water.
