Cold showers ? I don't think that boat has a water heater.

Warm weather, curtains hanging from the Bimini and shower in cockpit. Cold weather, put some warm water in a pressure sprayer with a shower head and shower inside. Once done, empty the bildge and then pour fresh water, and empty it again Click image for larger version

I would agree with the liability only insurance. To be independent of marinas and pump outs, it would be worthwhile to consider a composting head. They are far more simple than many consider and odor free with proper use. The huge complication that I would not be able to overcome is winter living aboard in Michigan, but then I'm a pansy Florida guy!
