Bill,

Given the amount of "Liquid refreshemnt" we are packing you should look out for us. We will be on the water on Saturday afternoon, heading in the general direction of hamilton Island. We will try and contact you.

Day -1 (only one more sleep and we are off)

The advance party have left and are getting prepared for the adventure. We will be able to send you all a summary of the boat and its condition, provisioning standard and type of service on Saturday.

For those who do not know the area we have included a map and an aerial of the Airlie Beach. This region is well documented on several web sites, however, this one has nice pictures Whitsundays Map - Maps of the Whitsundays. We will use this to navigate you around the Whitsundays as we stagger from bay to bay.

It is our intention to give you a daily update with pictures and respond to all your questions.

Thank you all for your interest and comments.

to be continued .....

A Jeanneau 42DS GREAT!! We are actually very keen on that boat and would love to have your entire perception and observations about it. Love to hear it from an actual owner instead of a broker or salesman. I want the real deal on that boat!!

Looking forward to your daily updates, reports and pictures!! have fun

Shadow,

A little on right now. How about we give a good run down on our return from the Whitrsundays.

Service to say we LOVE our boat. There a lot of interesting fetaures and it is well made, easy to work on and easy to sail. I would recommend navigation at the helm (not standard) and put in AIS down below. Extra batteries are great as is the in mast furling. We are set up for a spinnaker but have not yet bought one.

Any how we will send you ore later for now here are a few shots you may like.

GoldRush has departed the area for ports south!! Have a good stay. (You can always top up at Hamo if the "supplies" get low.)

You guys sound like fun folks. Come to think of it, I've never met an Aussie that I didn't feel a kinship. Bon voyage.

WTF

I hope you have real charts of the area?
Would hate to see you like some of the charterers around there, piled up on the bricks in an anchorage.

Still, always provided entertainment listening into the scheds.

Plenty of better spots south of the $hit$unday$ IMHO if you have your own boat, most people rush past them which suits me fine.
