Sailing from Nassau to Exumas in December

Greetings from Brazil,
I am planing a nine day charter in December 2014, on a Lagoon 39, with my family.
I have the option to sail from Nassau to George Town or from George Town to Nassau. I am taking new sailors and would like to enjoy the best winds, less tacking. Could you please help me to choose the right and best way.

Without a doubt, Georgetown to Nassau. Unless a cold front moves through, you'll most likely be sailing on a wonderful broad reach the entire way.

Be sure to visit Warderick Wells, pick up a mooring at Hawksbill Cay, and snorkel the Thunderball Grotto at Staniel Cay. Have a great time!
